Cottagecore Halloween challenge

Cottagecore halloween – hm – what’s that mean? A continual learning experience for me. The “cottagecore aesthetic” I looked it up and there are a lot of definitions with the common theme of evoking an earlier era – perhaps victorian – a cozy home setting with english style gardens and bijou cottage living. Vintage florals, heirloom veggie gardens, mushrooms, weathered wood and stonework walls. Pair that with halloween and what comes to mind is handmade decor featuring traditional icons of the season such as pumpkins, scarecrows, ears of corn, friendly witches and ghosts and goblins, perhaps a black cat or two. Many of which are featured in my design, Kitschy Witchy Kitty.

Voting begins on Thurs and is open to the public!
