Rochelle Weiner Carr
In this online portfolio of collections and designs, I mix a selection of my skills in graphic design and fine art to present a fresh view in surface pattern design.
I like intense colors, contrast, geometry, and a level of artistic messiness. I really love it when you can see the hand of the artist in their work. I draw inspiration from foreign cultures, bygone eras and the natural world. My style layers drawings, textures, bold colors, irregular marks and rich textures to render unique designs with a hint of wit and charm.

Launching this portfolio of surface pattern designs is a natural culmination, combining my lifelong passions for digital design and fine art.

It is a pleasure working with a consummate professional like Ro!
Ro’s designs are unparalleled, born from a family history and education in fine arts, coupled with her world travels and totally unique perspective on color. The depth and complexity of her prints are unlike anything I have ever seen! She is a joy to work with and is that rare combination of an artist ahead of her time, who also has a keen understanding of business.
