Placed in Top 1% for Turtledove!

Wow! This is exciting! My entry in the Spoonflower.com challenge “Abstract Animal Prints” placed at #16 out of 1578 entries. That’s the top 1%! Yeehaw!!

I have inched considerably closer to the top ten on this challenge, thanks to all the awesome folks who voted for me! Thank you! Placing in the top 50 affords my little newbie shop a bit extra visibility on SF – which is a big bonus!

I’d had a few starts and stops with other ideas but finally settled on this monotone design which combines the markings from sea turtles and giraffes to create a lace doily effect. I have multiple colorways developed for this design, but my fave was this deep blue tone in the entry.

This is now for sale in my shop on Spoonflower – fabric, wallpaper, table linens, bed linens, etc.

Thank you so much to all who voted for my design! Yay!
