Tiki Surf Dreams

New design for this week’s challenge – heading in a little different direction. The challenge is Tween Spirit Bedding. I decided to go vintage sporty and created a colorful tiki surf theme repleat with carved icons, surfboards, sharks and fishes, and even some palms and pineapples thrown in. The design has a mid century modern vibe and it takes me right back to that episode of the Brady Bunch when Greg was surfing the beaches of Maui – there was a tarantula involved somewhere but I didn’t include that. Heh. I did a whole collection for this one, I was digging the vibe so much.
