Top 6% for War of the Roses

Just found out that my entry for the Spoonflower Floriography challenge came in #85 out of close to 1500 entries – excellent!

I really loved designing this historical theme. It tells the story of 15th century England’s War of the Roses – which was a long and bloody fight for the throne between the House of Lancaster (red rose) and the House of York (white rose). The war ended with the union of the two houses and the beginning of the Tudor dynasty, represented by a white and red rose.
