The Beast Placed

The Beast in Bloom placed 57th out of 1,402 entries in Spoonflower’s Hothouse Florals design challenge — top 4% — and I am genuinely thrilled.

Thank you to everyone who voted and shared. It means more than you know, and this placement would not have happened without you.

The Beast in Bloom is a tropical damask featuring leopards, golden crowns, and eastern arches — because why choose between a jungle and a palace? King potea, iris, and heliconia fill every available inch alongside dense olive and sage foliage, all in deep rose, antique gold, and forest green on a warm gold ground. Formally structured, maximally decorated, and not remotely subtle. Just how I like it.

The full collection — including companion prints The Grand Plume and Nouveau Arabesque Damask — is available now on Spoonflower.
