Plaid has been following the rules for a few hundred years. This one decided it was done with that. Sweeping waves cut straight through the grid on a set of four soft, lightweight cloth napkins, made for holiday dinners, Tuesday leftovers, and everything in between. A classic, just not a well-behaved one.
