Thrilled that my entry, Baby Elephant Garden placed 63rd (out of 1360 entries) against some very stiff competition. I do not typically design for kids – cute is definitely not my strength. My previous forays have not been successful (or fruitful). But – as part of my journey to learning and growing as a designer, I have committed to entering the twice monthly challenges, no matter the topic. So when the Pet Doodles challenge arrived, I gave it another try. Anywhere in the top 100 is a reason for celebration, especially as I try to learn what gets attention and garners sales in this saturated market.
