And guess what else?

Earlier this year I applied to an open call for artists at Mary Jones Design Ltd in England. They are a surface pattern design company that’s been around since the 80s, selling designs to big name retailers like Harrods, IKEA, TK Maxx (Brit version of TJ Maxx), Dunelm, Bed Bath & Table, and others. Well, not only did they welcome me into their team of artists, but as of a few days ago, they have made a first sale for me! They guard their client’s privacy very closely so I am not allowed to show the work that has sold, nor mention the buyer. However, I have a selection of other designs in their gallery now and I’m working on a few more! This is my first foray into commercial design-to-buyer work, and I’m learning so much! Thank you so very much to the team at Mary Jones! I am forever grateful!
