Do You Suffer From Coulrophobia?

Do you suffer from coulrophobia – a fear of clowns? I am finding out how polarizing images of clowns can be. Some people have an instant “NO WAY” reaction, and others (like myself) think they’re a little corny and old fashioned, but certainly not scary. This week’s design challenge at Spoonflower – “Monster Mash” – brought to mind clowns as monsters – or rather monsters disguised as circus clowns. I created a full collection inspired by an old fashioned carnival or circus – dots and stripes and big top – and everything a bit dirty and threadbare from traveling from town to town. Wish me luck! Voting begins on Thursday!
