Lake Life Challenge

What an excellent prompt! So many really creative and gorgeous entries by the other artists this week. I had tried multiple directions before landing on my entry, which I’m calling “Lake Caribou“. It’s a wood-cut (ish) style showing a canoe, oar, water lilies, leaves, flowers, all arranged in a vaguely art deco repeating composition. I went with cool tones of lilac, navy and mint. I’m really happy with it and created a few extra coordinating patterns, with many more ideas in mind for further development.
